The Trunk: EarthTeach Staff

"We must protect the forests for our children, grandchildren and children yet to be born. We must protect the forests for those who can't speak for themselves such as the birds, animals, fish and trees."
~ Chief Edward Moody (Qwatsinas, Nuxalk Nation)

Peter Way Cotton, On Site Coordinator
Pete has been roaming the land at EarthTeach Forest Park, listening to the wind and winged symphonies, admiring the sculptings of leaf, rock, moss, and pine needles, and watching the drama of water, snow, heat, and moonlight all over its 1680 acres for sixty-two years. Whether in the office, or in the field working hard to maintain the Park, Pete is passionate about his purpose. Who better to coordinate the behind the scenes work necessary for the multitude of wonderful programs hosted by EarthTeach? Art Historian, architectural designer, doctor of alternative education, and patient papa, Pete Cotton the founder of EarthTeach and a trustee on the The Way Foundation Board.
